You can now
pin contacts to the top of the list.
How it works: press and hold a contact and choose
Pin to Top
. The person moves into a Pinned section above A. The same menu then shows Unpin.
Order: pinned contacts appear in the order you pinned them. They leave their letter section, the way pinned chats work in Messages.
While searching: the Pinned section steps aside and you get normal results, so a match never ends up in a group you didn't ask for.
What else:
- Note locations now show the city after the place name, for example "Bratwursthäusle, Nürnberg". (Thx, Dominik!)
- The Relationships network now uses the same grey as Contacts
Pssst: I’m working on a Mac version of Persodex. But since release notes are famously unread, this stays between us.

Remember people who passed away
(Thx, Martin!)Some people stay part of your life even after they're gone. A contact's Details tab now has a quiet »Keep in memory« button. Their portrait appears muted everywhere in the app, their page shows their life dates, and their birthday stays on the calendar as a calm remembrance instead of a countdown.
- Everything that nudged you to reach out stops on its own: no birthday notifications, no catch-up reminders, nothing about the age they would have turned. Widgets and Cleanup leave them out as well.
- The mark syncs over iCloud to your other devices. Removing it from the same sheet brings everything back.
- You stay in control: »Show remembered people« is in the list options, and the switch for the whole feature is under More → Preferences. Marks are kept either way.
- Nothing is written to the iOS address book.
Open addresses in your preferred map app
On a contact's Details tab, tap the address to open it in Apple Maps or Google Maps - whichever you picked under More → Preferences. It works right away, even while the map preview is still loading. The »Open in …« line below the map is tappable now, too.
My Card - QR Code
The »My Card« screen now has a QR Code Contents section with a switch for each detail: Company, Job Title, Phone, Email, Website, and Address. Your name is always part of the card - that's not switchable, since a nameless card would just confuse whoever scans it.

Edit Contact
button, right at the top of the section that already had »Change Contact« and »Remove My Card«. It opens the same native iOS contact editor the app uses on every contact detail, and it works in English, German and Spanish since that label was already in the app's translations.Also

Profile Enrichment
Bring a contact up to date without retyping anything. Connect a service of your choice: FullEnrich, Apollo, Enrich, People Data Labs, or Reverse Contact.
Bring your own API key
, then tap Update Profile on a contact to look for their current job title, company, work email, phone number, website, and LinkedIn profile. You approve every change, field by field. It stays off until you set it up, and only the contact's name, company, and any work email or profile link are sent - straight to the service you picked.
Birthday reminders
Persodex can now remind you of birthdays on the day itself, at your reminder time. If their birth year is saved, it also tells you how old they're turning. Tap the reminder to open their contact. The Birthday reminders switch is under More → Settings.
Company contacts
(Thx, brrcrites!)Contacts for a business rather than a person are now filed under the company name instead of »?«, with a building icon when there's no photo.
- If a contact has both a name and a company, choose how it appears with Show as PersonorShow as Companyon its Details tab. It's the same setting as the Company checkbox in Contacts on the Mac.
- Cleanup no longer lists companies under No birthday, and the Favorites widget no longer shows them without a name.

Cleanup
Under More, Persodex now scans your address book and tells you what is wrong with it.
- Empty contacts, No birthday, No photo, First name only, Odd name formatting, No catch-up frequency and No tags or groups each fix in place, one contact at a time.
- Possible duplicates are shown as a group, not just pairs, since the same person can be filed three times. Numbers and emails are pooled, and where two copies disagree you pick the right value field by field. Your notes, to-dos, tags and catch-up frequency all move to the contact that survives.
- Not every match is one person. Two brothers share a landline, a couple share an email. Leave the contacts alone changes nothing, stops the reminder, and stays undoable under Left alone.
